The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program
(SINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), is a collection of immigration
pathways enabling foreign nationals’ applicants to become Canadian permanent
residents. The PNP is strategically designed by Canada to attract immigrants in
areas which will benefit the province: skilled workers, workers in sectors with
labor shortages, workers with job offers, and entrepreneurs. The province
operates several immigration streams divided among three categories according

Saskatchewan Express Entry
Saskatchewan Express Entry is one of the
International Skilled Worker streams of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee
Program (SINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) operated by the province of
Saskatchewan. Candidates and applicants from the federal Express Entry pool who
have high skilled work experience in an occupation that is not listed on the
SINP Excluded Occupation List may submit an Expression of Interest to be
considered for the express entry.
Following are the minimum
requirements for a candidate to be eligible under SINP’s International Skilled
worker – Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category:
- The legal status of living, by the case
currently residing in Canada
- Must have a valid Express entry profile
number and job seeker validation code
- Must prove their language
proficiency by taking a language examination conducted by a designated
testing agency like IELTS for English language and TEF for the French
language
- Must have completed minimum
one year of post-secondary education or training (degree, diploma or
certificate) which is in equivalency with the Canadian education system
- Must have a minimum level
of work experience required in an occupation that is classified under NOC
skill level 0, A or B and the occupation
must be in-demand in the province
